14 Aug - All the details of the great debate on Oct. 24th All the plans have been finalised now for the great Fairtrade debate on Tues 24th October. The venue is the Theatre on the Park Campus of University of Gloucestershire and the time 7.30. It seats about 200 so it’s sure to be a sell-out. Contact Jerry Barr on 01242 244785 or Barrjerrysue@aol.com to make sure you have a seat. We have important speakers from the Fairtrade Foundation, Nestle and Kraft. Barbara Crowther from the Fairtrade Foundation will be there and Kraft and Nestle will be represented by Jonathan Horrell and Hilary Parsons who are their Corporate Affairs Managers. It will be a great opportunity to hear all sides of the case. |

Plans for Cheltenham The event will take place in St. Mary’s churchyard in the centre of the town at 12.0. As many drummers as we can muster be make as much noise as possible. Our MP, Martin Horwood, and Mayor, Jacky Fletcher, have already promised to be with us. A great group of dancers from USA, the Angel Feet ministry team, will be there to add some colour. |

Plans for Gloucester The event will go on for an hour from 11.30 to 12.30 with Akomo, the Afro-Caribbean band, leading the show. City celebrities are invited - watch this space to see who’s coming. |

Plans for Tewkesbury Tewkesbury Methodist Church is the venue for the event for Tewkesbury constituency. MP, Laurence Roberston, has promised to be there to verify the number of drummers. |

Plans for Stroud Just heard that the event will be in St. James churchyard, Dursley. More details in due course. |
